Tag 1: Abfahrt von Marmaris zur Hauptstadt der Holzboote, Bozburun

Dirsekbükü is carved deeply into the mountainous terrain, shaped like an elbow (hence the name), providing absolute shelter from all wind directions.

The water here shifts from deep cobalt to striking turquoise near the edges. There are no roads, no cars, and no noise—just the sound of cicadas and the gentle lapping of water against the hull. We run a line ashore, tying off to a sturdy pine tree, securing the yacht mere feet from the rocks. It is an incredibly intimate way to connect with the sea. At night, with zero light pollution, the Milky Way reflects clearly on the mirror-like surface of the bay.
