How do I list my boat/yacht on YachttoGO?
It is a simple deployment process. Click the “Add Your Boat” button at the top right corner of the website and follow the technical setup wizard.
How do I verify my account and set up my profile?
To ensure maritime security and build trust, YachttoGO requires personal identity verification.
Profile Setup: You must use a real personal photo for your profile picture. Using company logos as profile pictures or company names as usernames is strictly prohibited and will result in automatic removal by the system.
Verification Badge: After creating your account, navigate to your Profile dashboard and upload your official ID. Once verified by our team, your profile will receive a ‘Verified’ badge. This E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) signal proves to charterers that you are a vetted maritime professional, dramatically increasing your booking conversion rates.
How does the payment and commission system work?
YachttoGO ensures secure financial transactions for both parties:
1. The Deposit: To confirm a reservation, the customer is charged a 45% upfront deposit via credit card through our secure payment gateway.
2. The Owner’s Payout: YachttoGO deducts a flat 10% commission (for direct platform bookings) from the total charter fee. The remainder of the upfront deposit is transferred directly to the boat owner’s bank account.
3. The Balance: The remaining balance (55%) is collected directly by the boat owner or base manager at the time of boarding (check-in).
Exceptions (Commercial Fleets): Corporate operators, such as bareboat fleet companies, may apply their own specific charter agreements requiring full payment 30 days prior to departure.
Offline Brokerage: If our in-house team manually manages and routes a VIP client directly to your vessel (offline requests), a pre-negotiated brokerage commission of 15-20% applies depending on the agreement.

How do I accept or decline a booking?
When you receive a reservation request, a notification will appear on your dashboard. By clicking on it, you access the Approve/Decline command center:
- Approbation préalable : If the vessel is available and you approve of the renter’s maritime experience, accept the booking.
- Déclin : If the dates clash or the renter does not meet your operational criteria, simply decline. The renter receives an automated notification.
- Envoyer une offre : You can propose a custom offer other than your standard listed price if the mission requires it.

How do I communicate with my guests?
Contact information (phone, e-mail) is blocked until a reservation is fully approved and the deposit is secured.
Once approved, the communication channels are fully opened for boarding logistics. We block initial contact info for two critical reasons:
1. Maritime Security: Protecting our owners from scammers and phishing attempts.
2. Platform Integrity: Routing a booking off-platform violates our terms and leaves both parties without payment protection. Doing so will result in immediate account suspension.

Instant Book allows verified renters to secure your vessel immediately, bypassing the manual approval process. Your listing receives a lightning bolt badge, significantly increasing its visibility and charter rate.
Because it removes manual vetting, you must maintain absolute calendar accuracy. To enable Instant Book, your vessel must have:
- A calendar updated within the last 30 days
- At least one completed booking
- Comprehensive House Rules loaded
