1. Why should I choose a twin-engine over a single-engine helicopter?
The primary advantages are safety and operational flexibility. Twin-engine helicopters are legally permitted to fly at night (under IFR) and offer superior safety for prolonged over-water flights, making them the standard requirement for most superyacht transfers and corporate operations.
2. Can it accommodate larger groups and heavy luggage?
Light twin helicopters typically accommodate 5 to 6 VIP passengers with standard soft luggage. The cabin is more spacious and quieter than single-engine models. However, if you are traveling with a larger entourage (7+ passengers) or excessive maritime gear, our concierge will coordinate a seamless upgrade to our medium and heavy helicopter fleet.
1. Why are only small boats allowed in Dalyan?
The Dalyan canal is a protected environmental area with very shallow waters and sensitive reed beds. Large yachts and deep-draft vessels are strictly prohibited to protect the ecosystem and the nesting grounds of the sea turtles.
